Day 01: Guwahati – Shillong (100 KM / 3 HRS)
Received by agency driver, Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East". Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional).
Day 02: Shillong Local Sight Seeing
After breakfast
After Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing of Shillong. Shillong - The ‘Gleneagle of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. The city’s own Ward’s Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating. The Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants & rare collection of orchids.
Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses & exquisite flowers. The Mini zoo adjacent to the park has about 73 birds, 140 reptiles & mammals.
One of the largest Golf courses in Asia is an 18 hole Golf Course is charted amidst a surging valley full of thick pine groves & rhododendron trees. Spend the evening in the splendid arena !
The State Museum (closed on Saturday and Sunday) is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya. Shillong and its surrounding is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming misty sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. Overnight at hotel.

Cathedral Catholic Church Also known as Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Cathedral Catholic Church Shillong is positioned between Dhankheti and Laitumkhrah. This church is erected on the same site where the first church of Shillong was built. The first construction was destroyed in fire in the year 1936. This lovely church in Gothic architectural style lies amidst expansive lush lawns. This church falls under Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Shillong that is known to be administering similar sort of places of worship in Jaintia and Khasi hills of Meghalaya. The Cathedral is named after Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
Day 03: Shillong - Cherrapunji (65 KM | 1.5 Hrs)
Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong. After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji, this is the wettest place in the world. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave. Night Stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 04: Cherrapunjee - Dawki - Mawlynnong Village - Shillong
After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating (on your own cost) in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River Evening return to Shillong.
Day 05: Shillong - Kaziranga (265 KM / 6 HRS)
After early breakfast today check out and proceed to Kaziranga. Near Kaziranga, visit Orchid garden, one of the most beautiful garden where you will find some rare species of orchid and museum. Night stay in Kaziranga.
Day 06: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning explore Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant.(optional). Apart from world's endangered One Horn Indian Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tiger anywhere. Kaziranga National Park is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of Birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon we proceed for a jeep safari (optional). Evening come back to the hotel.
Evening you may visit Orchid Park and enjoy local cultural function there.
Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.
Day 7: Kaziranga to Guwahati ( 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati.. On the way visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture. Arrive and check in at hotel Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day8: Deparature from Guwahati
After early morning breakfast, we will drop you as per your flight timing. IF the flight is of late evening, we will take you to other sight seeing points. Basistha Ashram, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Navagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva).

Kaziranga National Park:
In the heart of Assam, located on the banks of the mighty Brahamputra River. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. With Open country covered mostly with elephant grass, Kaziranga gives visitors a chance to see the fauna at fairly close quarters. The total number of rhinoceros in the park is 70 percent of the total population of this species in the world. The values and criteria made Kaziranga National Park to get inscribed in the World Heritage Site List 1985.
Jeep Safari: Jeep Safari available from 1st November to 30th April. Jeep Safari is from 7.30am to 9.30am & 2pm to 3.30pm.
Elephant Safari: Elephant Safari is available from 1st November to 30th April. First ride is from 5.15am to 6.15 am and Second ride is from 6.30am to 7.30am from November to April (unless census may be scheduled).
